Usage process:

1. No-load test run: Ensure the power supply is 380V (special voltage requires customization), connect the power, confirm that the clearance between the cutter assembly and the turntable is normal and free of foreign objects before starting, then press the start switch and let the machine run idle for 1-2 minutes. Listen carefully for any abnormal noise or friction, and confirm that the equipment runs smoothly.


2. Uniform feeding: After the machine runs smoothly, feed the cleaned and peeled root vegetables (such as potatoes and radishes) continuously and uniformly through the feeding port of the material cylinder from above. Be careful not to feed too much at once, as this may cause material jamming.


3. Automatic discharge: After the material is sliced or shredded by the high-speed rotating tornado cutter under the action of centrifugal force, the finished product will be automatically ejected from the discharge outlet. Please ensure to place a receiving box or conveyor belt beneath the discharge outlet in advance.

Frequently Asked Questions

The shreds cut by the shredder are uneven and contain many fragments?

This issue is typically caused by worn blades or improper clearance. It is recommended to first cut off the power and open the cutting chamber to check if the blade edge has become dull or has gaps. If the blade is severely worn, it needs to be replaced as a whole set; if only the clearance has increased, the parallelism between the moving blade and the fixed blade can be readjusted to ensure consistent clearance.


Does the shredder or slicer make abnormal noises or vibrations when it's running?

Abnormal noise is usually caused by residual hard objects inside the machine or damaged bearings. It is recommended to immediately shut down the machine and power off, thoroughly clean the residues around the turntable and cutter assembly, and remove foreign objects such as old potato skin or stones. If there is still metal friction sound or increased vibration after cleaning, it may be due to worn main shaft bearings or loose pulley. It is necessary to disassemble and inspect the bearings, add lubricating grease, or tighten the lock nut of the pulley.

 

Maintenance method:

Daily maintenance: After daily use, clean the residue with water and wipe it dry to prevent the salt-containing material from corroding the cutter head.


Monthly maintenance:

All moving parts of mechanical components must be kept lubricated.

All chains, sprockets, gears, gear racks, and other rotating parts should be regularly lubricated with lubricating oil or butter.

Regularly add lubricating oil to all pivot joints.

It is recommended to check the wear condition of the cutter head and whether the fixing screws are loose every two weeks.

 

Safety Reminder

Do not open the cover or reach into the machine while it is operating.

 

If material jamming occurs, first cut off the power before handling it.
